B2C - Early Career
The projects below demonstrate my ability to design for various audiences using different media to create engaging customer experiences. These works were foundational and completed between 2013 and 2018.
Interactive Product Displays
Each experience adhered to dual branding for both Verizon and the devices, including HTC, Apple, and Samsung. These interfaces showcased pre-loaded content, videos, or HTML games, highlighting the features of the devices and providing users with interactive walk-throughs on the mounted devices or touchscreen displays. This design encouraged user engagement through touch interaction.
Over the course of three years, I led a team of 2 to 8 contractors. Headcount depended on delivery dates. Together with input from Producers, Art Directors and other stakeholders, we delivered approximately 16,000 pixel-perfect assets for over 275 consumer-facing mobile experiences in both English and Spanish to third-party developers for interactive displays in Verizon stores.
Interactive Product Selectors
This project helped Academy Sports increase shoe sales by matching users with shoes that best suited their running style. The experience included interactive video clips to educate the users. The content integrated seamlessly into one of Academy Sports’ standard web pages.
As a team member, I collaborated with the stakeholders and contributed to both the content and the video clip concepts. As the lead designer, I provided the designs, video transition concepts, client presentation materials, and hand-off materials for third developers.
Interactive Video Product Selector
The goal of the product selector was to encourage luxury brand users, who are accustomed to the personalized service of brick-and-mortar stores, to make purchases online. The videos functioned like knowledgeable sales associates, offering information on how to use the products. Meanwhile, the cards and notifications provided simple and immediate options for adding items to the shopping cart.
The product selector for L’Oréal Kerastase’s line combined existing video clips with in-video product placements, making it easy to purchase directly through the video. It was designed to seamlessly integrate into the Kerastase page on L’Oréal’s main website.
As the lead designer, I collaborated with the stakeholders on the content, provided designs, presentation materials, and specifications for the final asset hand-off.
